The Twisted World 🌍😈 One day in the middle of summer Liam was playing a game of soccer at Mount Taranaki national park. One of the players kicked the ball into the forest; “I’ll get it” shouted Liam as he entered the forest he that he won’t come out of anytime soon. Liam searched the forest in the direction where the ball flew and then he found the a small circular crater the size of a soccer ball right in front of a mirror. Liam got closer to the mirror and realised there were only twisted forms of what’s in the reflection. The mirror started glowing, the things around him were corrupting and all he heard were screams; “Help!” yelled Liam at the top of his lungs; it all went white. Liam woke up in a place very dark; “uhh where am I?” Liam asked himself. Liam wanders around the twisted place and then he finds a dark purple cloud that keeps glowing. “Wow, decent light” Liam said sarcastically. “Hello…Liam” said a voice; “who speaks” Liam says nervously. We use punctuation to make sense; to give the story more detail and it’s; and it’s way easier to read. Punctuation is one of the main parts in writing and the simplest thing can make it more interesting to read. Punctuation makes your writing make a lot more sense for the reader because they know who’s talking and all you need to do is add simple speech marks at the beginning and end where someone speaks. To make the story have more detail we can insert it by using colons, semi colons, comas and hyphens. It makes our story more interesting. Our stories are so much easier to read when we use full stops and capital letters. It shows the reader where to start and stop at the start and end of a sentence   These are some reasons why we use punctuation. By Jasmin.

MISTAKEN “HIP, HIP, HOORAY!” Comes the sound of Judy’s birthday cheer. It was Judy’s 4th birthday and it’s time for presents. Her first present was followed by many others until she came to her last one. A soft cuddly teddy bear called Timmy from her dead grandparents. Wait dead grandparents!? Of course Judy didn’t understand but her parents did. They started worrying that something would happen to Judy and something did. It all happened in the Goblin Forest......... The next morning at 3:00 AM disaster struck! Judy awoke. Timmy ghostly flew out of the room. Like a speeding bullet Judy shot across the hallway after her beloved stu ff ed bear. It flew out of the house but Judy followed it. Over the fence. Judy followed it still. She followed it into the Goblin Forest. All of a sudden Timmy disappeared. She observed the area and saw her desired teddy, floating in the thin air. Judy attempted to cling on to her cuddly bear but before she could it sunk into a mysterious purp

It was a nice sunny spring morning in Taranaki so me and my family decided to go on a bush walk in Taranaki National Park. I breathed in the nice fresh air and listened to the native birds and rushing streams. Dry leaves crunched under my   feet and I smelt dirt and plants. Finally after we had walked for a while Mum announced she was famished and we should sit down for a rest and a snack I sat down on a damp log and opened our day pack I got a kiwi fruit out. Suddenly there was a quick flash and I felt the kiwi fruit get snatched out of my hand ; the kiwi fruit was gone. I caught a glimpse of a black cloaked figure sprinting away, I chased after it as fast as I could it felt   like I was going 100 km an hour we winded through trees   and twisted through vines. I could see a mysterious blue object shimmering in the distance I tried to   identify it but before I could stop I went flying through it like a speeding bullet.   The whole world turned upside

It had been raining all morning and then there was a enormous bang had waking me up in a fright. A cascade of water had catapulted into my room as if it was furious. Leaping out my bed I hastily hid behind the lee side of my archives in my wardrobe. Where I’d hidden was not adequate as I got tugged away in the massive wave of debris and distractions. The Minute That Destroyed My Life 🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪 It had been raining all morning, I had just realised what happened after the minute of terror.    Howling winds, bruised sky, heavy rain and a foggy view. I’m screaming of agony, being petrified of the rumbling noise. It was like an earthquake but more destructive, and in a blink it was gone. I sat under the door frame wondering what it was. I walk out of the door and see that my hometown is destroyed. This is based on a true story, from my experience in a tornado. By Katie 🦄

THE MINUTE OF HORROR It had been raining all morning, but I didn’t know until the bang woke me up...   Sharp, high pitched screams erupted my eardrums, as I rushed down the hallway and drew the curtain open. There lay a horrible sight.   A fluorescent streak of lightning flashed across the bruised sky as thunder crashed on the ground. Water engulfed the house, muddy water seeping under the doors. A massive swirl swished around the house and all of a sudden, it was gone. I looked outside and my home town is destroyed. SCARLET

Once upon a time I was doing   parkour I   jumped on a slippery shiny building suddenly I   Slipped off the building. boom crack the ground crack open a humongous   ugly  Monster Jump out of the hole I ran like a monkey finally I made it home. A day later I looked out the window there was a big red house l ran   Out side knock knock the door Slowly Open Aaaaa the monster.

I got my tiny surfboard. I paddle to sea . The sun was shining yellow on my board it hurt my eyes . I got the board because it was hopeless and had dings in it was thin . I glued strips of glass into the cracks. Now it is the best.

Once upon a time, there was a tiny yellow bird called Olivia, and the favourite part about herself was that she had the most shiny wings out of any birds that lived. “NOOO!" shouted Olivia, her shiny wings are now tiny and hopeless wings. A few minutes later, a scientist saw Olivia sobbing her heart out, then the scientist fixed her wings with a magical potion and her wings were big and shiny again. 

The tiny Bug thought it was hopeless to help the yellow bird so the bug called Mr robot shark. Mr robot shark found a very thin twig and started poking the bird. The bug thought for awhile then the bird rose up into the shining sky and COMP! Mr robot shark ate it whole! “Thanks for the help” mumbled the bug. 

Once there was a yellow surfboard. It was hopeless because it was too thin and it always sunk to the bottom. By the way it was so tiny that it is smaller than a meter. It was so shiny when the sun reflected off it ‘it would sting your eyes

Once there was a crazy scientist who found a tiny, shiny and yellow bug. It was thin and hopeless and never happy. So the crazy scientist pulled out his cracked wand and said.” Abracadabra”Just   after he said those silly words...Puff! The bug was Big and happy.                                                          

A new day doning and my family is out side to catch some Fred and. Before we go inside I stop and see that the cat is gone. To outr sprigs the cat is hosting on to a pol flying like the national flag representing the core. We have tried a latter, a tree, ethoter and a lot more that I can't be botid epling. The next thing we tried was calling a fiatrac to use the latter to get the cat done. Wall that wrcht so I gest that is THE END.

A new day is dawning and my family goes outside to catch some fresh air. Just before we go back inside I stop and see that the cat was gone. To our surprise the cat was holding onto a pole flying in the wind like the National flag representing our country. We tried using a ladder, a tree, each other and a lot more that I can’t be bothered explaining. The next thing we tried was calling a fire truck to use their ladder to get the cat down. Well that worked so, I guess that this is ……… THE END

Plastic! Plastic sometimes is a delight, But sometimes it can be quite a fright. No matter how old or new, It makes people think : “WHAT DO WE DO!?!?!” Ever heard of “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch?”, It makes turtles eggs not hatch. It is two AM and my whole family is woken up by a loud WWHHHHHOOOOOOOOSSSHHH!!!!!!!!!! CRASH!!!!! We all go outside and see a giant teacup stuck in our front lawn. We are all jaw dropped when I walk straight through the cup. I had disappeared.   by Miley

Once upon a time, there was a giant and he had a wife. His wife had an antique tea set that she had with since her grandfather was around. There was a problem, one day when the giants were having a cup of green tea, the giant dropped his tea cup and fell to the ground and got stuck in the grass. Five years came and the giants had to find a way to get it out so he called his best friend Ledron and his crane to come and help pull the cup out. “Yay”, said the giant’s wife, “the cup is out and please don’t drop it again”, said the wife. Little Daisy was turning one. Daisy felt really overwhelmed and started screaming her lungs out, her Mum got her a drink of milk from her antique teacup but that was a mistake. Daisy's face was turning neon pink, she was getting really mad, her king size cot was rocking like a boat in a storm. She held the teacup and bi ff ed it out of the unluckily open window. That was a massive problem. Her Dad had to go down to earth and see if anybody had seen it. Luckily it was still falling down. With a big thud he caught it.  BY JASMIN  

It was 2050 and the world was shrinking they thought that everything on it was to but no there was one tea cup that didn't. They found it in 2055 they tried to get it out but it was to big. They tried everything but it didn't work. The slushing was to get a giant to come to and take it home. So they went to the giants home and got him to come and get it so thy live in humane Riley

BOOM! Another strike of lightning bolted through the sky. Thunder rolled through the ground, waking me up. The thunderstorm kept rumbling through the night. CRASH! I ran outside to see what had happened. The thunderstorm had stopped and the sky was clear. On the lawn was a gold and white teacup. But the teacup was huge. After the drama of last night, he walked to the same place. The exact same thing happened but in reverse, his tea cup flew into his hand and then walked home backwards. He then had his trusty cup.
